Tour Scotland Stirling Castle The Chapel Royal Video. Built 1594 in just nine months to accommodate the visiting dignitaries for the baptism of Prince Henry. Extensively redecorated in 1628-9 and then restored in the 1930s. The timber ceiling dates from 1996. The Chapel Royal of Stirling Castle houses some impressive tapestries which were woven on site.
